Diplomacy&Beyond: David Morris

The next event of Diplomacy & Beyond talk series will host David Morris, diplomat and political adviser, based in Beijing, Sidney and Budapest. The topics of the talk will be concentrated on China’s global diplomatic, political and economic strategy, Chinese-Central European relations, China as superpower, and China in international relations.

Over a thirty year career as diplomat, political adviser and international business consultant, David Morris, has contributed to building engagement, understanding and partnerships between leaders from the Asia Pacific to Europe and the United States. In 2018 he was appointed Chair of the United Nations Asia Pacific Business Forum 2019, the flagship event of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Since 2015, Mr Morris has served as the Pacific Trade and Investment Commissioner in China, promoting trade, investment, tourism, education and creative industries for the member states of the Pacific Islands Forum.

The participation is free of charge, however registration is needed.
