The Institute for Cultural Relations Policy and its international partners offer fully customisable training courses focusing on career and entrepreneurship. The courses provide relevant knowledge and develops skills related to career, employment and entrepreneurship. These programs are designed for – but not limited to – employees and executives from companies, aspiring entrepreneurs, social innovators, community leaders, non-profit organizations, job seekers and career changers.

TOPIC: Creating CSOs

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Duration: 6 days training including one day study visit
  • Participants: the programme is ideal for aspiring entrepreneurs, social innovators, community leaders, non-profit organizations, and individuals interested in starting their own projects or organizations with a focus on social impact, community development, or addressing specific societal needs.
  • Schedule: 4 training sessions per day, one free day, optional study visit

TRAINING SESSIONS

The program includes two training sessions in the morning and two training sessions in the afternoon, combining theoretical and practical aspects. The sessions include the following topics:

  • Opportunities in your area
  • Finding your aim (What is needed to implement your ideas?) What is a sustainable project/organisation? What kind of actions can be supported?)
  • Grant schemes available for new organisations (international and national grants)
  • Basics of creating an organisation (types, legal procedure, documents, authorities involved, timeframes, etc.)
  • First steps (registration, taxation, visibility, partnerships, etc)
  • What is my idea?

The aim of the training is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to identify opportunities, conceptualize sustainable projects or organizations, navigate the process of creating and registering an organization, understand available grant schemes, and take the initial steps towards implementing their ideas effectively.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

The learning outcomes of the 6-days training would include participants’ ability to identify and evaluate opportunities in their area for project or organizational development; define their aims and understand the components of sustainable projects or organizations; navigate the process of creating an organization, including understanding legal procedures, required documents, and authorities involved; identify and apply for grant schemes available at both international and national levels; understand the first steps involved in registering an organization, managing taxation, establishing visibility, and forming partnerships; clearly articulate their ideas and develop a concrete plan for implementation.
