Youth initiatives against local problems

Surveys and reports show that active engagement of young people living in Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Italy, Hungary and Turkey is lower than the EU average.  Eurobarometer survey shows that young people living in these countries would like to participate in volunteering activities and active engagements to contribute their local communities but they cannot find appropriate and sustainable funding to their endeavors and initiatives.

Youth Initiatives Against Local Problems (YIA Local) aims to contribute to capacity development of young people on the topics of active participation, citizenship, engagement, entrepreneurship, volunteerism in the society by encouraging and training them to be able to take initiative and/or a part in social sector organizations.
