From youth to work – international forum

This international forum will present and promote existing activities, programmes and projects that aimed at improving practices in youth work in the fields of career and vocational guidance, supporting employability of youth, enhancing job search process and supporting transition from educational activities to labour market. From Youth to Work international forum comprise lectures and presentations of practical conceptual materials in the specific field of regional, national and European successful practices including procedures, methodologies and tools in career and vocational guidance. The event is supported by the European Commission’s Programme for education, training, youth and sport. (Erasmus+)

11:50 – Workshop (led by Mirtill Megyeri): From Youth to Work in practice – a guideline to help young jobseekers on field

12:30 – Break (coffee, tea, refreshments, sandwiches)

12:45 – Danijel Bićanić: From youth to work – background and tangible results of an international cooperation

13:15 – Presentations from project partners from Greece (Chrysa Christidou – IATAP) and Romania (Ágota Szilágyi – DGASPC HR).

13:45 – Questions and answers

14:00 – Closing remarks, followed by an NGO fair and wine degustation

Call for participants

  • The forum is open for youth workers, social workers, managers, employees and volunteers of NGOs, youth organisations and organisations focusing on activities related to youth work and career guidance. Attending the event is beneficial to those who are interested in current challenges of youth work and to NGOs that seeking for new partnerships in the youth field.
  • The language of the event is English.

 

Call for NGO presentation

The organisers welcome presentations of NGO activities in the side events program of the From Youth to Work international forum on 22 January 2020 (14:30-15:00). The presentation is expected to introduce NGOs active in the field of youth work / social work / youth education / career guidance. Representatives of NGOs will have 3-6 minutes for presentation (duration may vary according to the final number of presentations). Please inform us if you would have a concrete proposal to share posters and audiovisual material (will be played with sound). Creative contributions are much welcomed.
