Meet the utility of ERASMOBILITY

Project description: The objectives of the project look forward to:
• Support youth workers and trainers of new generation
• Contribute to the identification of ‘non-formal/informal education’ through its tools (learning to participate, peer learning, intercultural dialogue etc)
• Focus on the learner, his needs, expectations, respect of diversity, promoting equal educational opportunities
• Develope skills and abilities, strengthen ‘professional profile’, share good practices
• Motivate for active participation and taking initiatives in local, national and international level, support and develope ‘youth working’ in Greece
• Support youth organizations, their intersectional cooperation and their role as multipliers

Upon completion of the activities, the participants are expected to have:
– Strengthen their profile as informed, capable and motivated youth workers, useful in the European context, as they will gain knowledge and develop skills, both social (team spirit, solidarity, respect of diversity etc.) and personal (critical thinking, creativity etc.)
– Co-create promotional Erasmus+ video and draw collaboratively new Erasmus+ project which will reflect the coupling of people from different countries with different perspectives, habits and concerns
– Come in contact with different cultures and with local and national lifestyle
– Been awarded with european certification Youthpass and strengthen their CV

Methodology: The followed training methodology will be based on Non-formal Education and its tools: learning to participate, peer learning, intercultural dialogue, study-visits, role-playing, working groups, ice-breakers, energizers etc.

Profile of participants: The Profile of the participants of ‘Meet the Utility of ERASMOBILITY’ must be:
– willing to comprehend the concept of ‘Erasmus+’ programme
– interested in supporting actively & forward the practices of ‘Erasmus+’
– active, motivated, open-minded youth workers or people who work in the youth fields
– aware of the ‘youth work’ reality in their countries
– ready to experience, share and explore
– having a good level of communication in English
– over 18 years, no age limit
