Redirected is a seminar during which we would like to improve the digital youth work online by implementing more innovative methods and finding new approaches how to ensure highest participation of young people.

 

Specific objectives:

  • To improve digital youth work and digital citizenship and explore the new methods tied to it;
  • To exchange experience about facilitation in interactive virtual learning through the use of digital platforms;
  • To share best practices on digital tools and methods of digital youth work at local and international level;
  • To raise competencies on how to improve communication skills by using digital tools
  • To boost capacity of all the organisations involved in the project and their network of different target groups by improving quality of activities;
  • To create a tool kit with tools shared and developed and to provide it as a free source for youth workers and organisations working in the field of youth education;
  • To build a network of digital youth work ambassadors which will share their knowledge and bring in new methods and digital approaches for other youth workers

 

Activities

The training will be based on the principles of non – formal education (group as a source of mutual learning, trainer as facilitator of learning process, holistic approach, etc.) and experimental learning approach led by a non-formal education trainer from Italy – a youth worker, project writer, facilitator, project coordinator and trainer with more than 20 years of experience.

 

Selection of participants

  • Over 20 years old counting the fact that youth workers need some experience
  • Be committed and motivated and able to participate to all the activities of the project
  • Members of organization involved who are interested to bring improvements in youth work and in daily work
  • Youth workers who have developed workshops with digital tools and usually work with young people
  • Capable of communication and working in English
  • Ready to share good practices
